This little bakery is definitely hidden, it’s connected to a food truck area on Cook street and located in the back of a building. I had a cinnamon bun and got a slice of cake to go, my partner had a cookie. Great treats, you can barely tell they’re vegan which is the sign of a good recipe.

Went for tea and ice cream when walking along the beach for a trip. Genuinely the sweetest folks, most cozy atmosphere, and the scones are massive and easily the best I’ve ever had (which is a lot). Hope they get as many customers as they deserve and take care in the future.

one of my favourite places in town for a little treat! aside from their food and drinks i also love the atmosphere— it’s a lovely, sunny outdoor space in a beautiful area. i ordered a vegan cookies and cream cake from them for my partner’s birthday as well, and it was so very good and the ordering process was quick, easy, and simple. so i highly recommend ordering cakes here too!

Ine of our favourite local cafes to support. Literally a "hidden gem". My husband and I have been coming here for coffee dates since they opened... we even have our favourote corner to sit to enjoy every moment with our coffee and our delicious treats.. we love that they have vegan options... the last time we were there, I got a special surprise when I was able to order vegan affogato! It was devine! the staff never fails to provide amazing and friendly service, which makes us regular customers..

The Hidden Gem was just that - a hidden gem! We saw the signage from Cook Street as we were going for lunch and decided we would check it out afterwards. It was hard to find (the signs made it easier!) but it was a beautiful little shop with lots of gluten-free items and plant-based ice cream. The blood orange blackberry ice cream in a charcoal cone was perfection.

Love everything, no notes. My absolute favorite place in town for any kind of treat. Everything I get is amazing and I love the ratio of offerings of sweet and savory! Seriously perfect. I have ordered full cakes from Hidden Gem for birthdays which blew all my guests away. It's a good thing I live a few neighborhoods away or I would have no money left. Thank you for existing 3

Finally got to this sweet spot, and what a delight! We got lattes and cookies and enjoyed the sunshine. Lovely staff, great variety for treats. Will be back whenever we are on Cook St.

The staff was lovely, the space was cute, the food was DELICIOUS! They have a number of different options for dietary restrictions, which is great. Vegan, dairy free, and gluten free. They are NOT however wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair user on their own would struggle to get into the slightly uneven seating area and would have to have the staff come outside to take their money as the window is up on a small porch area. Or being there with an able bodied person allows them to pay, which works for my husband and I, thus no knock on the review. Would definitely go again if in the area!
